The Dept. of Bengali of Vedanta College, Kolkata observed International Mother Language Day on 21st February through a cultural programme named "Ekusher Krishnachura amader chetonar rong" including poetry, singing, dancing by the students showcasing their immense love & emotion for their mother tongue as well as paying tribute to the martyrs of the Bengali Language Movement. Faculties in their speech highlighted the significance of observance of this day & the need of respecting each other's mother language.
