a major part of their sec practical was conducted in the laboratory. mr. arghya naskar, research scholar of the said laboratory has elaborately explained the students the procedure for mushroom cultivation and then a portion of mushroom was excised and fungal tissue culture was performed. post demonstration of fungal tissue culture technique by the research scholar, all the three students of semester 1 have performed the experiment individually. this is a very informative demonstration and hands on practice session for the students which help them to be more precise with tissue culture procedures and help them learn the techniques.
